A electric compressor is a multidisciplinary integrated product that compresses low-pressure gas into high-pressure gas; it is the heart of a refrigeration system. In the wave of new energy vehicle development, automotive air conditioning compressors have also undergone electrification innovations. With the integration of frequency converters and motors, their manufacturing and control have become more precise and complex.

In new energy trucks, an electric compressor replaces the original belt-driven compressor, powered by a battery. This allows for simultaneous operation of both driving and parking air conditioning functions, offering superior cooling capacity and energy efficiency without requiring modifications to the cab. Compared to a separate parking air conditioner, it is lower in cost, lighter, requires fewer modifications, has better compatibility, and does not occupy cab space.
