Battery PTC coolant heater is an electric heater that heats antifreeze with electricity as energy source and provides heat source for passenger cars. The battery PTC coolant heater is primarily used for heating the passenger compartment, defrosting and de-fogging windows, as well as preheating the battery thermal management system. These functions ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and fulfill the required operational performance criteria.

EV PTC heater is suitable for electric / hybrid / fuel cell vehicles and is mainly used as the main heat source for temperature regulation in the vehicle. The Battery PTC coolant heater is applicable in both vehicle driving and parking modes. During the heating process, electrical energy is efficiently converted into thermal energy through PTC components. As a result, this product delivers a faster heating performance compared to internal combustion engines. Additionally, it supports temperature regulation of the battery system—specifically heating the battery to its optimal operating temperature—and can assist in fuel cell startup loads.

This is an OEM-customized product. The rated voltage can be configured to 600V, 350V, or other specifications based on customer requirements, with power options of 10kW, 15kW, or 20kW. This flexibility enables compatibility with a wide range of fully electric and hybrid bus models. The heater provides robust heating performance, ensuring sufficient and consistent thermal output, thereby creating a comfortable driving and riding environment. It can also serve as a dedicated heat source for battery thermal management systems.
