High-Voltage Coolant Heater (HVCH)
The High-Voltage PTC Water Heater is a critical thermal management component for new energy vehicles (including battery electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles). Powered by a high-voltage DC battery pack (400V/800V), it heats the coolant to provide a heat source for cabin heating, battery preheating, defrosting/demisting, and thermal compensation for heat pump systems.
Utilizing PTC ceramic or thick-film heating technology, the Electric Coolant Heater features automatic temperature limiting, high thermal efficiency, operational safety, and rapid temperature response. Controlled via CAN bus and low-voltage signal interfaces, it is widely used in passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and recreational vehicles (RVs).
