BTMS 3-18kW Full-Power Customized Solution Officially Released

BTMS

Recently, new progress has emerged in China's new energy vehicle thermal management sector— a new generation of BTMS (Battery Thermal Management System) has officially entered mass production and vehicle integration. Simultaneously, a customized product matrix covering the full power range from 3kW to 18kW has been launched, serving diverse application scenarios including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, construction machinery, and energy storage systems.

The series of BTMS products adopts an integrated liquid cooling and heat pump architecture, incorporating high-efficiency pumps, intelligent control valve assemblies, and comprehensive temperature control algorithms. It can precisely maintain battery pack temperature differences within ±2°C under extreme conditions ranging from -30°C to 55°C, reducing low-temperature range degradation by over 25% and significantly enhancing safety during high-speed charging at elevated temperatures. The 3–8kW models are designed for passenger cars and light-duty commercial vehicles, featuring compact structure and flexible installation; while the 10–18kW models target heavy-duty trucks, buses, and energy storage stations, supporting multi-module parallel operation to meet demands for high-power fast charging and long-duration, high-load heat dissipation.

"Different vehicle types and operating conditions vary greatly in their thermal management power requirements, making it difficult for standardized products to balance efficiency and cost," said a technical lead. "Our 3–18kW fully customizable solution enables one-to-one matching based on customers’ battery capacity, charge/discharge strategies, and usage environments, helping them achieve optimal energy efficiency ratios while ensuring safety."

Currently, this BTMS series has passed multiple reliability tests and validation by original equipment manufacturers, supporting deep customization and co-development with clients both domestically and internationally. Industry experts note that as battery energy density continues to increase and fast-charging power grows, BTMS has become one of the core technology battlegrounds in new energy vehicles, and flexible customization capabilities will be key to differentiating thermal management companies in the competitive landscape.
