◇The product has an attractive appearance. The surface should be free from scratches, damages, cracks, grease and other harmful deformations that affect usage and appearance. There
should be no defects such as scratches, burrs, rust, deformation or cracks. The outer surface should not have any sharp protrusions that could cause injury (such as sharp corners or sharp edges).◇When the defroster is in a stable working state, its surface temperature should not exceed 125℃, and the outlet air temperature should not exceed 65℃.
◇When the defroster is in a stable working state, the connection between the air ducts is well sealed without any air leakage. The insulation level of the high-voltage interface meets the
requirements of SAE J1742-2005 "Test Methods and General Performance Requirements for On-Vehicle High-Voltage Wire Connections" and GB/T-18384.3-2001 "Safety Requirements for
Electric Vehicles".
◇Condensate drainage: When the multi-functional defroster and demister assembly is tilted 15° forward/backward and 12° left/right relative to the vehicle's assembly position, in each air
outlet mode, the condensate water should be able to drain smoothly through the drain pipe, and no condensate water droplets should be blown out from any air outlet.
◇Operation safety capability: The electric defroster is equipped with a temperature switch. When the temperature of the PTC core reaches the set upper limit, the temperature switch will open , and the PTC core will stop working. When the temperature of the PTC core drops to the set lower limit, the temperature switch will close, and the PTC core will start working.
◇Sealing performance: When the inlet static pressure is 150Pa, the leakage of the housing (including the expansion valve, housing joint, etc.) and the air door should meet the following
requirements: housing leakage < 15L/s; leakage of a single air outlet < 1.0L/s.
◇Low-voltage steady-state current: 10.4A; high-voltage impulse current: 12.6A, impulse current duration: 0.3~0.5s; high-voltage steady-state current: 9.4A.
◇All crimping points of the low-voltage wiring harness included should be heat shrunk with heat shrink tubing containing hot melt adhesive (ensuring a tight and reliable seal after heat
shrinking). It is strictly prohibited to use tape for sealing.
◇Other requirements not specified herein shall be carried out in accordance with the "Design and Development Requirements for Heating, Cooling and Defrosting Devices (Systems)".
◇Unspecified dimensional tolerances shall be in accordance with GB/T1804-2000, grade v.
◇The items marked with ★ are special characteristics. The dimensions marked in the drawing do not include the thickness of the insulation layer.
