Since the beginning of every season, we recommend to check the refrigerant quantity of the system.

Usually, a lack of refrigerant reduces the performances. The check can be carried our by observing the refrigerant sight glass located on he cooper tube. First, it is necessary to select the highest ventilation speed, then keep the engine at 1500rpm. After 5 minutes, if there is persistent white foam on the glass, restore the charge. However, the glass could be clear although the refrigerant was lacking. In such conditions, the conditioning performances would be limits or null. In case of severe refrigerant lack, before recharging find out the leak point and repair it.
We recommend also checking the oil level within the compressor. Fill up if necessary.
You will need to clean the dust prevention filter periodically under the air -intake cover.

At the beginning of each season, Inspect all the components of the system, including the electric components to make sure that no problems have arisen.
If any electric components need replacing, you can access them easily by removing the outside cover of the unit.
After 1500km, from the conditioning installation, carry out a general inspection. Particularly check that the screws and the bolts fastening the compressor, and its brackets, are tightened.
Twice a year, check the tension of the compressor trailing belt; if it is worn out, replace it by one of the same type.
In the event of considerable repairs, we recommend to replace the receiver drier. This operation is essential if the system stays open a long time, or in case of inside moisture.
