Thick Film Coolant Heater 10KW For BTMS

This 10kW HVCH High Voltage Coolant Heater, also known as EV PTC cabin heater, is a core thermal management component specially developed for new energy vehicles. It adopts advanced PTC positive temperature coefficient heating technology, with rated heating power of 10kW. Its high-voltage working range is 400V–800V DC, and it uses 18V–32V low voltage for control signal supply. The maximum allowable working pressure is 0.25MPa.

Different from traditional fuel vehicle heating solutions, the HVCH heater relies on high voltage electricity to heat circulating coolant. The heated coolant flows through the vehicle pipeline system to realize two major functions: passenger cabin heating and battery temperature regulation. Thanks to the inherent self-temperature-limiting characteristic of PTC heating elements, the product can automatically restrict temperature rise without extra complicated control logic, greatly reducing the risk of overheating.

Multiple built-in protection mechanisms are integrated inside the heater, including overtemperature protection, overvoltage protection and short-circuit protection. These safety functions can quickly cut off power supply in abnormal conditions to protect the heater itself and the whole vehicle thermal system. The shell is made of high-strength aluminum alloy, featuring compact layout, good heat dissipation performance and strong vibration resistance, which can adapt to bumpy, low-temperature and other harsh automotive working environments.

The product is widely applied to new energy vehicles thermal management. It provides stable cabin heating for BEV and PHEV in cold winter, improving driving comfort. Meanwhile, it preheats power batteries and maintains constant battery temperature. Proper battery temperature can reduce internal resistance, increase charging speed and extend battery cycle life.
