High-voltage PTC electric defroster (for new energy buses/heavy trucks)
This high-voltage electric defroster is specially developed for pure electric buses, new energy buses, and heavy commercial vehicles. It adopts DC high-voltage PTC ceramic constant temperature heating technology, is compatible with the vehicle's 450V-700V high-voltage power battery system, and is equipped with a 24V low-voltage control fan. It focuses on the rapid de-icing, defrosting, and defogging of the windshield, while also taking into account the low-temperature heating needs of the cab. It is a core supporting equipment for the winter visibility safety of new energy vehicles.
The core heating unit uses a self-regulating PTC ceramic element with automatic temperature limiting, maintaining a constant surface temperature between 220–250℃, eliminating the risk of dry burning and fire. The entire unit is equipped with multiple safety protections including high-voltage insulation, overcurrent, over-temperature, and water shortage protection. The high-voltage connector uses an orange, high-voltage resistant, waterproof plug with an IP67 protection rating, making it waterproof, dustproof, and resistant to vibrations, suitable for complex operating conditions such as high temperatures, humidity, and dust, with stable and reliable insulation performance.
The silent centrifugal fan boasts ample power, with airflow ranging from 600 to 900 m³/h in multiple specifications. It supports multi-speed adjustment and features a ductwork design that evenly covers the windshield areas for both driver and passenger. The unit is lightweight with neat wiring and an independent control switch harness, making installation and maintenance easy. It is compatible with all types of vehicles, including 8-12 meter buses, tour buses, new energy trucks, and school buses. Power options range from 2.5kW to 5kW and can be customized to meet specific needs. It features lower operating losses at low temperatures, energy efficiency, and stable performance.
