The electric battery coolant pump is a core component of the battery thermal management systems (BTMS) used in new energy vehicles, electric heavy-duty trucks, and energy storage systems.

Driven by an independent brushless motor, the pump circulates coolant through the battery cooling circuit to dissipate heat from or preheat the power battery. Unlike engine-driven mechanical pumps, this electric automotive water pumps supports variable-speed control via ECU commands; it operates independently of the vehicle's engine status, allowing for precise regulation of coolant flow to ensure battery cells operate within their optimal temperature range.
